Happiest 5k on the planet!

As December arrived, our countdown to the color run began with pure excitement.
From stressing to who would come and actually make it to the unbelievable moment that the color run is actually happening, it was a success and I couldn't be more happier to be with these gals!

Here in Dubai, our color run was scheduled on December 14 at Autodrome.
The place was enormous and the weather was great.
All was a great start for the color run!

Despite the small issue we had before going to the run, the experience was amazing and unforgettable.
And the best part is, I spent that moment with amazing people.

Here's a super fail edited video of the color run festival that was conducted after the run:

Excuse the screams, the fail edit and so on. The video editor I used was experiencing a glitch and it drove me crazy!

Anyways, to finish off this post, as they said, friends who color run together, stay together.

Hope y'all enjoyed this one.

Shoutout to Janina for some of the shots taken.

Much love

Clean Up Drive and a day with our PE teacher.

Hello everyone!

Far Eastern Private School attended a clean up drive at Mamzar Open Beach.
The drive was at November 29, 2013 and different communities attended the drive with an urge to
sustain the cleanliness of the beach.
We had to start our day early as the drive commenced at 7AM and eventually ended at 11AM.
It was tiring but the thought that we all helped each other to clean up the beach was worth it.
As my last year in high school, this was a memorable experience for me and my fellow seniors.

Here are some pictures we took when we had the time:

After the clean up drive, our PE teacher casually invited us to go to a mall and just "chill out" for awhile.
We all agreed and set off to an interesting mall which I barely go to, (therefore I found it interesting), and so..
We all decided to go to Al Ghurair Mall.
While we were there, we had a fun time eating (of course), impersonating other teachers and dishing out about some funny moments.
For a while, we forgot how tired we were from the clean up drive and we probably even occupied half of the food court.
As they said, the more the merrier.

Here are a few pictures we took:

Hello RJAY! :D

Hats off to this lady who never failed to amuse us with this beautiful sand castle she's making!

Hope y'all enjoyed this post!
More to come.

Much love,
E

Donation Drive for Typhoon Yolanda victims

As Typhoon Yolanda or also known as Typhoon Haiyan, destroyed thousands of lives in the Philippines, finding out the damages the typhoon had made was utterly devastating. The thought of people losing their lives, unjustified to be exact was heartbreaking and cruel. The sad truth is, no one, not even the preparations the affected countries made can overcome the strength of Typhoon Haiyan.

Fortunately, with the help of some countries all over the world. Many donated lots of money, food, clothes, etc. And for now, Philippines is still recovering from the damages Typhoon Haiyan made and will surely rise again.

Far Eastern Private School, conducted a donation drive that was held on November 14, 2013, dedicated to the victims of the typhoon. As brothers and sisters, we packed up each goods given, safely into boxes where later on will be sent to the Philippines.

Here are a few pictures taken from the school's album:

Tons of students donated many goods. From canned food to clothes, every bit of these donations came from the hearts of people who knew that despite the fact that they couldn't do anything about the typhoon, donating simple things like these would help lots of people affected in Philippines.

Thank you for taking the time and reading this post. (smiles)

That's all for tonight!

God bless!

Much love,
E

Meet up with Southville's student recruiter.

(I swear, it's so hard to make good introductions.)

Hey everyone!
As I have been scouting for good universities in the Philippines, one stopped me in my tracks. Not only because it is internationally accredited but mainly because it is the ONLY school in Philippines where you will receive an international diploma and also have a guaranteed future.

Pretty pumped up to actually start my new journey here.

Ms. Joyce J- Cudale, the student recruitment head and her assistant came to my school, Far Eastern Private School and oriented us about Southville University and its career opportunities. As convincing she turned out to be, I wanted to try out a school like this since after studying in college, I plan to study abroad and not only in my local country.

After discussing it with my parents about SFU, we called Ms. Joyce and decided to meet up with her in Deira City Centre. We had a cup of coffee and some frappucinos too at Starbucks as we discussed about the main concerns my parents had for this school. They were assured that the place was safe, fun and also convenient.

(Thanks for the treat again, Ms. Joyce! *if you're reading this*)

As promised, here's a link of SFU's website. I haven't been there yet but I guarantee, you will be pretty excited too after you hear all the unique plans this school has got for you!

A few snapshots of the school's website:

Please do check their website, it would mean a lot!

That's all for tonight!
